15 April 2019: Mundipharma and NUS Enterprise, the entrepreneurial arm of the National University of Singapore (NUS), have announced the launch of the ‘Mundipharma Cancer Care Challenge’, which invites teams from around the world to submit game-changing ideas that use technology to solve problems that cancer patients and doctors face.
Jointly organized by Mundipharma and NUS Enterprise, the Challenge comprises three problem statements that individuals, or teams of up to four, can take on. The ultimate aim is to turn the ideas into actionable solutions that will benefit cancer patients all over the world.
Mundipharma CEO, Raman Singh, said: “We are delighted to be working with NUS Enterprise on this project. Our vision is to take a new approach to healthcare, underpinned by a vision to harness technology in order to provide game-changing healthcare solutions and deliver superior patient outcomes.
For this challenge, we’re leveraging open innovation by seeking ideas from the tech world and beyond. I’m looking forward to seeing the proposals that will be put forward and am full of hope about the impact the results will have. This is an opportunity for creative thinkers and innovators to help make a real difference to the lives of cancer sufferers.”
Roadshows for Q&A will be held in three locations around the world in advance and will be live streamed. Full details are available at mundipharmacancercarechallenge.com
